The Boogeyman

When the sun goes down the folks are asleep and your in your room all alone. The shadow of your nightlight beaming a scary glow. The creaks and cracks of the wooden floors in the distance. The feeling of safety under your blanket shielding you from the creatures that go bump in the night. Then the nightlight stops room is dark. The only sense tells you of a eerie whistle. Your heart is pumping and your mind takes over. The illusions of the dark start to show themselves. You try to be strong and brave the darkness and lift the blanket. A shape of a man in the closet so apparently clear. Your paranoia start to come and the blanket raises over your eyes. Footsteps move towards your bed and drops of sweat run off your head. Tears drenching your cheeks. The being screams and howls trying to get more satisfaction from scarring you. Then the light turns on and all hope comes back and the mysterious figure is gone. Your mom comes in and assumes it was a nightmare. She leaves and before the lights go out you see hat in closet. You know now the thing was real and it poses a threat. Then you feel a grab again and the lights come back on. Your decides to check it out and journeys on inside. All you hear are shrieks and screams and your mother to never return. Then you wake and bright white room. Your arms are stuck and you can barely move. A man comes in with a mask wearing a white suit. Something sharp goes into your arms and your eyes drop heavily. You wake up in your bed and figure it was a dream. You go to school and back. You move to your room and all you see the hat!
