The Nintendo Wii

The nintendo revoultion as it once was called was renamed as the Wii which I personally think is a perculiar choice for a name. The Wii was released on November 19th. The Wii also had line ups just like Ps3 but most of the people waiting in those lines were more peaceful then the people who resided in the Ps3 lines. The Wii came out with the very small price of $295 canadian at stores in Canada. The Wii launch was lead by a first party game (meaning that Nintendo made it) which was The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess. This game was a huge success for the Wii launch. The most revoultionary thing about the Wii was it's unique controller. The Wii controller was motion sensitve. This meaning that what you did with the controller your character in the game will do. As an example in Wii Sports a game that comes with the Wii you can play boxing, baseball, bowling, Tennis, Golf. To play these games you actually have to enact the movements with the controller. With all of these cool features is the Wii worth the $295 price tag?

Playstation 3

Playstation3 the console to beat all consoles. The Playstation 3 has revoultutionary technology not seen in any systems to this date. This would seem it would happen every time console come out they bring something new to the table. The Playstation released in Japan first on the 13th of November and then had a North American release on the 17th. The Ps3 came in very limited numbers ranging from as little as 88,000 in Japan and having about 400,000 in North America. Ps3 had a number of games that came out with it but one game was the main release title for anyone who bought the Ps3. This game was called Resistance: Fall Of Man.Lines were everywhere for this system. People waited days some even weeks before the system came out waiting outside stores with tents, cards and coolers. Many bad things happened to the people on the North American release of the Ps3. One man was actually shot by armed assailants and riots and broke out at stores without enough security. Personally I can't believe people go to these lengths to get the newest next generation console. The Ps3 even retails at $659 canadian for the best version which makes you think is it worth it. Sony obviously believed it was. The Ps3 was released also as a blu-ray player and every Ps3 had them built in making the Ps3 half the price of retailing blu-ray players at this time. So I ask do you think the Ps3 would be worth it to buy?

woppdie do for the democrats

So the Democrats won this years election. This could be a bad thing or a good thing depending on how you look at it. The Democrats in my opion are driven to provide a more peaceful United States rather thena warmongering one. I'm not saying that George Bush wanted to a reason to start the War On Terror. Now Bush has less power then he had before to achieve his goals. With the Democrats in power the War On Terro will probaly end sooner then later because they believe that they should not be in Afghanistan and Iraq anyway.
